Marching Forward

March was a fantastically fun filled month! Mexico for our babymoon, spring springing, and my favorite things I’ve seen on the internet, bought, or coveted are here for you to see!

Cabo was the perfect place to debut this perfect black bathingsuit. I can’t wait to see it on me sans bump! And I loved having this airy Cleobella dress to beat the heat

I’m currently obsessing over mesh ballet flats…. My dream pair are these.

And next weekend I’m headed to a fabulous wedding…. And I’m so excited. I found the perfect non maternity, but bump friendly dresses that you can see here.

Purrrfection

I have been on what I’d like to call a “shopping diet” for a few weeks. I needed to really take stock of wht I had and get rid of the things that no longer brought me joy. I do this at least twice a year and love it so much I do it for clients as well! Purging is THE BEST! But sometimes I come across what I love to call “aesthetic steals”. Pieces that are just too good to pass up at prices that wont break the bank. Like these perfect leopard ballet pumps. I want to channel one of Capote’s Swans wearing these chic little things with my oversized vintage Chanel bag. I don’t think I’ve purchased anything from Steve Madden since my very early 20’s but these were too cute to pass up! And now I’m eyeing them in the perfect red. If the heel isn’t your thing, these red ballet flats are a steal at under $20.

Whether it’s for our favorite Daddy or Zaddy I love to hunt down the best of the best for the men in my life. It’s not so much about flare, but utility. Investments you will love to give and they will be thrilled to receive.

First up the work shirt. The secondary layer over a t-shirt that can make or break an outfit. This one comes in a beautiful deep navy and is perfect all year round. While this luxe corduroy version is a personal favorite. Coming in 3 colors so there’s something for everyone!

Now lets talk about the base. The perfect t-shirt. Everyone needs them and everyone needs their t-shirts updated at least once a year. No stains or yellow collars please. On Sale! Oversized! Classic! And in the very of the moment coffee color this J.Crew is gorgeous.

The Real Real is my favorite place to hunt down cult pieces like this infamous MaxMara teddy coat. Snag it before its gone.

If that price tag had you gagging this is the coat for you! I’ve seen it in person and tried it on and I’m still mad at myself for not snagging it.

Now if leather is more your thing, this moto is perfection. It comes in a myriad of colors, size up for a more oversized look.

And at the top of my personal Christmas wishlist is this leopard number (pictured). Great print, french sensibility, and the price is très magnifique.

Birds of a Feather

With the holidays just around the corner, I love to start planning out my go-to pieces. Looks for the cocktail parties, last minute reservations, and of course the main events. While I’ll always lean into my trusty sequins there’s also a desire to deck myself out in whimsical feathery plumes. After scouring the internet here are my favorite finds…

Of course there’s the OG laid back hostess look from the Ukrainian brand Sleeper. With a set like this or a nod to the 90’s with this slipdress you can’t go wrong with the simplicity of these pieces.

J. Crew comes through yet again with this reworked classic (on sale!) that could be dressed up with a tuxedo pant, or worn with your favorite vintage Levi’s. And if you want to start small with the trend there’s this gem of a bag (in my shopping cart now).
